(I have been using simple gestures in our RP of Thunderclan. I was thinking, maybe I could give you a list of 'em.)
1.A twitch of the ear- 'Goodbye, for now.' 'Salutations.' 'See ya.' Any form of goodbye.
2.A tail over the front paws- 'I am filled with pride.' 'I am so proud of you.' Any form of pride. Also see #3.
3.A cat puffs out his/her chest- Another form of pride, see #2.
4.A hiss, ears pinned back, claws extent- 'This is our territory.' Any form of anger/territorial behavior.
5.A smile, tongue lolling out, ears lift high, tail lifts high- 'That's so great.' Any form of happiness/joy.
Example For All these:
Heatherstar gave a twitch of the ear, and strode away.
Brightpelt's tail slipped onto her front paws, and her eyes shone in pride.
Dustkit puffed out her chest and smiled at Firepelt.
Deathpaw hissed, and pinned her ears back. With a small metallic sound her claws appeared with a shining glint.
Lightpaw smiled, and her tongue lolled out. Her ears lifted high, and her tail lifted above her head.
